I am currently in the early stages of constructing this site but my plan is to provide valuable, relevant information and feedback to baby boomers who have questions regarding their dental health.
In my practice, I like to maintain a constructive dialogue with my patients but find that this is often limited by my time constraints and feelings of fear and reservation that many patients have regarding dental treatment.
Baby Boomers
This is understandable, so I’ve attempted to summarize what I believe to be some of the main concerns that people have.
A few subjects that come to my mind include:
Insurance coverage (What to do with Medicare, PPO/HMOs, HSAs, FSAs?)
Oral health concerns (Why does my mouth feel dry? Why are my fillings and crowns failing?)
Dental Maintenance (Which products are best for me? Where can I find them?)
Medications (What should I know about them and how can they affect my teeth?)
Dentures and Implants (What can I expect from them?)
Emergencies (Friday night toothaches, crunchy sandwiches, and ‘the dog ate my dentures’)
Dental Practices (Who are these dental corporations? Who can I trust?)
Dental Fears and what you wish your dentist would understand about you.
Please leave a comment below if you would like me to address any particular topics pertaining to dentistry.
